How Can Coaching Help You?

Hiring a coach gives you the power to focus your time and attention toward achieving maximal physiological results. Training and competition are worthless if goals are not made and results not achieved in a timely manner. A coach can help you identify your strengths and weaknesses as a cyclist, set goals that are achievable, and then measure your progress through objective means.


What Types of Coaching Do We Offer?

We offer coaching from single one-to-one sessions to help you with a specific aspect of your performance all the way up to tailor-made training plans with regular contact to check up on your progress.

One-to-one coaching

This allows direct contact with a coach on a bike during the session.

  • Heart Rate and Power Testing
  • Technique Analysis
  • Specific designed Wattbike sessions working on endurance, power, strength or speed
  • Body Conditioning Work
  • Core and Stability Work
  • Flexibility Work
Group coaching

Group classes – specific rides set up to challenge your core cycling fitness. These rides are based on endurance work, power, strength or speed. The classes are structured around a 6 week block. See the class timetable for more details.

Cycling clubs and coaches - We welcome coaches and clubs to use the facility for group, individual sessions and live race nights. We are currently taking club bookings for the winter season 2010-2011. The facility offers changing rooms, showers, Wattbikes, coaching equipment such as dry wipe boards, music system and projector.
